Summary: Ianto reflects on Jack's kisses
He Loves Me
I love Jack’s kisses.
Stolen moments in the cleaning cupboard; so many sensations, so little time. Languorous caresses going on through the dark, infused with incense, sweat and musk that lingers. I think my favourites have to be those where our eyes lock, just for a moment, before our lips touch; and we share a little bit of our souls. A peck as payment for perfect coffee makes the extra effort worthwhile. Anger melds into passion before I realise what is happening. I never thought a kiss would be enough for my knees to quake and external influences to deaden.
He Loves Me Not
I hate Jack’s kisses.
A kiss for every occasion, a distraction for every question. His kisses tell me he loves me so he doesn’t have to say the words. Kisses to make me forget, to stop me caring. And it works every time. All it takes is one kiss and I’m jelly in his arms. The multi-purpose weapon, suitable for apologies, diversion and payment. Want to avoid actually talking to your partner? All it takes is a kiss. His tongue catches the accusations before they have a chance to form and I curse my weakness with my last coherent thought.
